Darling buds of May indeed.. what a beautiful month we are now in. Our favourite flowers are coming to life (Peonies anyone?), fresh produce is coming into its own and finally we can start to enjoy our summer season clothes. The longer days mean that there is no excuse not to enjoy some of the wonderful things that May has to offer. Read on for our top tips for May!
Visit the V&A's Fashioned From Nature Exhibition
We've been super excited about this for a while. It is the first UK exhibition to explore the complex relationship between fashion and nature from 1600 to the present day. It presents fashionable dress alongside natural history specimens, innovative new fabrics and dyeing processes, inviting visitors to think about the materials of fashion and the sources of their clothes. Thought provoking and timely, we are thrilled that the V&A is highlighting fashion's impact on the environment.
Until January 2019.
Watch the Royal Wedding
We all love a wedding, and a royal one is a great excuse to throw a little viewing party in the comfort of your own home! We can't wait to see what Ms Markle chooses to walk down the aisle in - she's known to have an interest in ethical fashion so who knows, maybe it will be a sustainable designer. Either way we'll be popping the fizz and raising a toast to the happy couple from 12 noon when the service begins (well, it would be rude not to!). Cheers to love!

Visit the Chelsea Flower Show
The Chelsea Flower Show has now been running for over 100 years and is widely thought of as the most impressive and prestigious horticultural show in the world. Over 500 exhibitors will be demonstrating their green fingers - resulting in an awe inspiring display of floral design. Take a look around for some inspiration for your own patch. This year's show includes a new layout and several new areas.

What to Eat
Finally British produce comes into it's own in May with the arrival of the short but sweet asparagus season. Serve simply steamed with some melted butter and seasoning for a delicious starter or pop it on the barbeque with some lemon and olive oil for a gorgeous side. In addition, that most sought after of potatoes, the Jersey Royal, is now in season and works perfectly with asparagus and tender new season lamb for a taste of May all on one plate.
