What To Do.....
Ask Who Made Your Clothes?
It is 5 years since the shocking Rana Plaza tragedy claimed the lives of over 1000 innocent garment industry workers and opened the eyes of the world as to the vast injustices that plague the fashion industry. During Fashion Revolution Week from 23rd - 29th April millions of people are encouraged to ask brands "whomademyclothes whilst producers are encouraged to respond with the hashtag #imadeyourclothes and to demonstrate transparency in their supply chain. It is a chance to really make your voice heard and demonstrate how we want the fashion industry to change.
At Gather&See we will be bringing you stories from our brand on who makes your clothes from us and how - shining a light on ethical production and good practise. Be sure to check out our Gatherer blog for all the latest.

Dust Off Your Running Shoes
Get inspired by the London Marathon! With its cheering crowds and fancy dress fundraisers, the London Marathon is our very own world-famous running race. Covering 26.2 miles and shutting down roads left, right and centre, it takes over the entire city and is quite spectacle in its own right. Once you've watched everyone else do it why not make the most of the lighter evenings and warmer weather and step to it yourself. Running is a great way to get fit and release some endorphins which we could all do with a few more of. And don't forget to check out our latest activewear pieces from Satva if you are in need of some fancy new gear!
London Marathon, April 22nd
If you are looking for some escapism this month then be sure to check out Wes Anderson's latest offering, Isle of Dogs. His second animated film since Fantastic Mr Fox is set in a dystopian near-future Japan and follows a young boy who goes in search of his dog after the whole species is banished to an island due to an illness outbreak. With some mega star voices behind the characters including Bill Murray, Scarlett Johanssen, Bryan Cranston and Tilda Swinton, the film has been much praised by critics and is well worth a watch.
