What a wonderful time of year - light evenings, spring blossom, and the occasional warm ray of sun-filled promise of summer ahead. But best of all has to be the thought of several long weekends to look forward to over the coming months.
OK so that might be a tad optimistic with regards to the weather (who can blame us after the lovely week we just had!) but when the April showers do finally arrive we have the PERFECT spring trench courtesy of Anne Gorke – made from the finest organic cotton with vegetable dyed leather trims her delightful parka has a detachable hood ideal for inclement weather. I practically had to peel the sample off Steph last week she loved it so much and I have no doubt it will have the same effect on anyone else lucky enough to get their hands on one.
Here we will be spending the weekend putting final touches to Gatherandsee.com ahead of our launch next week. Timing could not be more apt with Earth Day on 22nd April calling for action on environmental sustainability and also the first Fashion Revolution Day taking place on April 24th.
Fashion Revolution Day marks the first anniversary of the Rana Plaza tragedy and aims to educate and raise awareness about the fashion supply chain. We will be supporting the campaign asking followers and customers the simple question “Who Made Your Clothes?” and posting selfies with clothes on inside out to @Fashion_Rev.
Look out for some familiar faces joining the campaign on the Gather&See Instagram feed and post your own photo to be in with a chance to win some Gather&See goodies!
