A Note From The Founders - September In Sight
There's no mistaking that back to school feeling right now as so many of us return to new routines after the long summer break. As we pass through this natural shift that comes with the end of one chapter and the beginning of another we wanted to take a moment to touch base from G&S HQ after what has felt like a very long summer.
First of all we want to say a huge thank you for all your continued support over the summer months. The holidays are particularly hard for small Mum-led businesses like ours. 6 weeks trying to keep young kids happy and give them the attention they deserve whilst running a business that we are passionate about requires a serious amount of juggling and a constant feeling of guilt no matter what you do. We know that so many of you feel this too! We've done our best to keep things as smooth as possible but know that at times we've been quieter on the socials than we would usually be, so thank you for sticking with us.
A huge positive for us for the summer holidays was that we two founders were able to meet in person for the first time in two years! We speak every single day but the joy at getting to chat face to face and even to meet each others littlest babes was just incredible. Gather&See is built on friendship, love and authenticity and we always find getting the chance to be together in person reminds us of what makes this business so special.
And that brings us to our amazing brands, many of whom have become like old friends themselves. We are so proud of these brilliant and forward thinking brands who inspire us daily. These guys are producing your clothes in such a caring and considerate way - ensuring that the environment and people are protected as they should be. Small brands working towards a greater good - a million miles away from the cynicism and greed of fast fashion monoliths. These brands need supporting and protecting so that we can continue to show that this is the way forward.
And that is exactly what we are going to do this season - we are so excited for the beautiful pieces that we have coming your way - from perfect denims to the softest knits and everything in between, we know you are going to love it and we can't wait to share it all with you in the coming days and weeks.
